We had seen it coming but none of us expected it to come so soon! After a bombastic opening at the box office last Friday, Rohit Shetty's Ajay Devgn-Kareena Kapoor starrer 'Singham Returns' have now taken the second spot in the list of 2014 Bollywood films with highest box office collections.

The film which stands at a huge domestic total of around Rs 116 crore has displaced Akshay Kumar's 'Holiday' which was occupying the second spot with lifetime collections of Rs 112.65 crore. Now, 'Singham Returns' is second only to Salman Khan's 'Kick' which is still raging at the ticket windows.

Salman Khan's 'Kick' has already brought in over Rs 230 crore at the domestic box office and has become the fourth highest worldwide grosser. 'Singham Returns', which is maintaining a steady pace even in its second week, is expected to move past the Rs 150 crore mark by the end of its second week.

'Singham Returns' has finally brought back the winning streak in Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor's career, one which had gone missing with their last few films. Being a Rohit Shetty directorial venture, success was guaranteed but no one could have predicted such an unprecedented run at the box office.
