The release date of the upcoming film Baadshaho has been reportedly postponed to May 12, 2017 to avoid clash with Shah Rukh Khan's highly-awaited Raees and Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil at box office.

As per a Filmfare report, the makers of Kaabil Ritesh Sidhwani and Rakesh Roshan approached Baadshaho producer Bhushan Kumar and asked him to push the release date of the film.

It is being said that Bhushan accepted their request to shift the date, considering their long standing relationship.

"Yes it's true that Rakesh Roshanji & Ritesh Sidhwani called me to request if we could shift the date of release of Baadshaho. Given our long standing relationship, I accepted their request," said Bhushan.

Milan Luthria's directorial, which stars Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Vidyut Jammwal, Ileana D'cruz and Esha Gupta, was earlier scheduled to release on January 26, 2017.
