Kareena Kapoor Khan had only one release in 2015. But Bajrangi Bhaijaan with Salman Khan, broke all box-office records. In 2016, the actress will be seen in Ki And Ka and has not signed any films post that announcement. Currently the begum is enjoying some R&R with hubby Saif Ali Khan in his ancestral home in Pataudi.

Says an insider, “Kareena has taken many scripts with her to read and she will finalise films for this year. But the three scripts that she’s focusing on are the remake of Sadma (produced by Boney Kapoor), a biopic on eminent Gandhian, a freedom fighter, and social activist Rajkumari Amrit Kaur. And the third is Milan Luthria’s Baadshaho, which stars Ajay Devgn. Before she left for Pataudi, Milan met her and expressed his desire to work with her. He also added that Ajay wanted her to play the role of a Rajasthani princess in the film. Earlier, Lisa Haydon and Shruti Haasan were cast in the film, but because of the script undergoing a complete change both the actresses are not part of the film now. Kareena is excited about all the three characters but she needs this time to figure out her date schedule and what she wants to do first.”
