After earning a magnanimous Rs 32 crore on Day 1, Rohit Shetty's 'Singham Returns' continued to do great business in the second day as well.

While the opening day was a national holiday which somehow benefited and shot its collections up to a huge level, the second day saw an expected drop being a semi working day.

But earning in the range of Rs 20-21 crore on Saturday has taken 'Singham Returns' right to the top of the table, netting Rs 50 crore in two days flat. 'Singham Returns' had the biggest opening of the year till date with over Rs 30 crore coming in on the first day. and now with the film crossing the Rs 50 crore mark in two days, it has joined 'Kick' which also achieved the same feat this year.

Going by the way the film has outperformed itself and the appreciation and good word of mouth spreading across, 'Singham Returns' would be Ajay's highest grossing film of all time. And the pace with which its speeding at the cash registers, it will definitely be Ajay's fastest entrant to the Rs 100 crore club.
