Aishwarya Rai Bachchan opposite Anil Kapoor in Fanney Khan!

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, like always, made a grand announcement at Cannes this year. In an interview to us, she revealed, "No, I took a break for the past five months because of personal reasons. I’m glad I did. It meant a lot for me, personally, so I didn’t have any professional meetings. I started last week and I have liked two subjects already. So, as and when, we feel the need or when the time is right, we will share the news with you."

In another interview, she revealed that she has liked two scripts already. And she also told a reporter that both the films she's liked are with directors she knows really well. While many started speculating that it was Karan Johar's next, the secret is finally out. 

According to fresh reports, along with a film with Mani Ratnam, Aish has now signed Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's next film - Fanney Khan. It is the same film that Anil Kapoor will be playing a lead in. AK will also be producing the film. Although there are no confirmations yet, an announcement should be made soon.
