AIB Roast: Mumbai police register FIR against Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and AIB team

AIB Knockout - the Roast had taken the nation by a storm after religious organisations and officials lodged complaints against the entire AIB team along with Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and others. Now we hear, Mumbai police is likely to register an FIR against the AIB organisers and the people who took part in the show.

Replete with obscene and vulgar content, AIB has found itself amidst a lot of furore where a section of the audience has condemned their explosive act. An additional chief metropolitan magistrate ordered Mumbai police to register an FIR against the members of National Sports Club of India (NSCI) for holding a commercial show with explicit content.

Initially while it was only the explosive content that irked the conservatives, later it was also found out that the indoor stadium of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was built on the land provided by the government on lease to NSCI. The land can only be used for sports events but AIB Knockout was a commercial event which was against the rules laid out by the government. 

Taking the issue up, now the court has ordered the police to submit an investigation report on the same. As of now, the FIR is said to be filed on Thursday evening against the AIB team and the Bollywood celebrities who voluntarily took part in it.
