After split with Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes rekindles friendship with her ex

Katie Holmes, who has been spending plenty of time with her daughter Suri and parents ever since she split from Tom Cruise, now has another love back in her life as she has rekindled a friendship with ex-boyfriend Joshua Jackson.

The 33-year-old actress recently starting speaking to her former Dawson’s Creek co-star again after she and Cruise parted ways in June.

Inescapable star Joshua, who is in a long-term relationship with German actress Diane Kruger, has revealed that he is thrilled to have reconnected with her after she called him.

The 34-year-old said they had a lot to catch up on during a recent phone-call.

“Like any old friend, it was like, 'Oh, hi how are ya? What’s going on?' 'I had a kid'... 'Yeah, that’s crazy, I heard!'... It was nice, it was very nice, actually,” the Daily Mail quoted him as saying on the George Strombolopolous Tonight.

Katie and Joshua dated during the first season of the popular TV series in 1998 but only recently got back in touch.
