After Sonam Kapoor, Salman Khan and Sooraj Pancholi, it's Amy Jackson's turn to unveil her app to communicate with her fans and give them an unadulterated 360 degrees view of her life. The actress who enjoys Instagramming and tweeting will now be creating exclusive content for her fans in the form of red carpet style video clips or her gym training videos.

She will be launching it on March 4 at a press con and then head to Anna University in Chennai the next day for a promotion event before flying out to London to shoot her next.

My app is a hub
"It's a hub and my way of giving back to my fans and fan clubs on different social media platforms who've always supported me. While I enjoy Twitter and Instagram, I find it difficult to reply to every message or query," says she.

The app includes special sections and has content, which will be a treat for her fans. "There will be live videos and features and my social media handles like Twitter and Instagram will all be in one place. Fans can also unlock certain never-seen-before images, new albums and videos, which are not available online," she adds.

'It's not about making money'
Jackson aims to create a lot of content every week and will spend at least four to five minutes each day to churn it out.
"I'm keeping it real and it's a prism where my fans can see my life, behind-the-scenes moment. It's not about making money and advertising. For instance, now I start my training for my new film and it's a platform where my fans can see how I go about doing things in my life and career," says she.

Jackson realised that popularity of reality shows and hit upon the idea of launching a reality-based app.
"On Twitter you go when you want to say anything and Instagram is more about aesthetically pleasing things but the app will be the space to make important announcements and reach out to my fans," says the actress, who doesn't follow celebrities apps.

One's wont to ask that with so many celebrity apps already around, won't this be a 'me-too'?
"What's important for me is to keep it real. It's my world being channelled through my eyes and that's what I want people to see," says she.

Emojis in future?
With the likes of Sunny Leone launching their own emojis, does she intend to unveil her own line of emojis some day?
"I would like to that, it's a very good idea, thank you," says she with a smile.

Let's hope there's enough meaty content on the app to keep her fans glued besides the social media feeds.
