Recently, director Sajid Khan cleared up the rumour that he has declined the chance to act as the Sindhi businessman in Vikas Behel's next film – 'Shaandar'. Now, the latest buzz is that Karan Johar was approached for the same role, and apparently he too has turned down the offer.
In a newspaper daily, the ace Bollywood director clarified that he is not doing the film. He said that he was briefly in talks at an initial stage, and that he is sure when the cast for Vikas' film is announced, it will be a terrific one, but he is not a part of it. He thinks only 'Bombay Velvet' – Karan Johar's upcoming movie, in which the director will make an acting debut – releases should people decide on offering me more films. He doesn't think anybody should take a chance till then.
