After 'Naam Shabana' backstory of other 'Baby' characters to be explored

Taapsee Pannu’s stunts in Akshay Kumar starrer Baby (2015) inspired the makers to come up with a spin-off, Naam Shabana, which explores the backstory of the actress’ secret agent character. Now, there is buzz that the filmmaker Neeraj Pandey plans to make films focused on other pivotal characters played by Rana Daggubati, Manoj Bajpayee, Anupam Kher and Danny Denzongpa.

A source close to the film’s team says, “The original film featured a strong ensemble cast and there is a potential to explore the backstory of each of them. The makers have decided to explore that possibility,” reports MidDay. Maanwhile, team Naam Shaban is gearing up for the release of the film this Friday.
