Veteran actor Bill Murray's What About Bob? is set to get an all-female reboot.

The 1991 Frank Oz movie will return as a TV show, reported Deadline.

The original starred Murray, 66, as the demanding psychiatric patient Bob of therapist Leo (played by Richard Dreyfuss), who tracks him down on his family holiday and drives him crazy with constant demands for attention, while his family start to warm to Bob, much to Leo's annoyance.

The pilot will be written and produced by Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, who wrote and produced episodes of New Girl.

Murray's Ghostbusters was rebooted by Sony Pictures with Paul Feig in the director's chair. Kirsten Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon were cast in the main roles for the movie.

The fandom of the original did not receive it well and it showed at the box office. Fingers crossed for the TV ratings of this reboot.
