After filing for divorce from wife Shweta Rohira, Pulkit Samrat gets into a SCUFFLE with the paps

Just a year after marrying with Shweta Rohira in 2014, actor Pulkit Samrat decided to call it quits. Yesterday, the estranged couple arrived at a family court in the city, where they filed for divorce. This didn't turn out to be a smooth ride, as Pulkit got into a scuffle with a photographer Santosh Nagarkar, who was at the venue to click pics of the duo.

Nagarkar told a tabloid, “Pulkit and Shweta arrived together at around 1 pm. They were inside the court for over three hours. When they left, Pulkit attempted to make a run to avoid the cameras. When we chased him, he threatened us and grabbed me by my collar. He was accompanied by his security guards and lawyer, who also punched us.”

When the tabloid contacted Pulkit, he said, “The photographer pushed my uncle and me and was recording it. I requested him to let me pass, but he refused to give way.” Shweta made a quick exit before the incident took place said, “Within seconds of leaving, many people called to tell me what had happened. Thank God, I had left. When you get into this field, your life is no more your own. They clicked my snapshots too, I didn’t stop them.”

Speaking about her divorce, she added, “I was karmically divorced long ago. Going to court was a technical exercise, only for the paperwork. We are adults, we took a decision, our lives have changed. I have put a full stop to one chapter of my life. I want to begin anew.” We wish you luck, Shweta!
