After Dubai, Kapil Sharma heads to US, Europe for live shows

After their Dubai outing, Kapil Sharma and his comedy show is headed to cities around Europe and in the US for live stage shows.

Reveals a source, "Kapil and his team of actors from Comedy Nights will perform these live shows, which will be produced for Colors and for Kapil's K9 productions by event and entertainment organisations owned by Bunty Bahl, actor Nihar Pandya, his brother Paarth Pandya, Yohaan Abraham and Anita Abraham and would be telecast by Pan Entertainment and its Dubai brand Ekya Advertising."

The idea behind the live shows is to give Comedy Nights With Kapil a global image through live shows across the world. The sources adds that since the Dubai stint was "extremely successful", it was time for the show to move on to other areas of the world for live performances.

About the Dubai show, Nihar shares, "We organised Comedy Nights With Kapil in Dubai with a 108-member cast and crew. The performance was held at the Sheikh Rashid Hall at the Dubai World Trade centre, with a capacity crowd of 4.000 people in attendance. There were nearly 800 to a 1,000 more people waiting outside for passes.

When asked if the shows would go global, Nihar simply said, "We do plan to take the shows further".
