Ram Gopal Varma was one of those many people who was applauding SS Rajamouli and the work he did with Baahubali franchise. The film has already turned out to be the biggest money spinner for Indian cinema, raking in over Rs 1200 crore at the global box office already.
But now, RGV has taken a sharp U-turn. Now, he feels that Baahubali didn't really capture the story of a true Indian hero. In fact, in a series of tweets, he has now revealed that after Baahubali, another actor has decided to now make a film on a level like Baahubali.
According to our news source which happens to be RGV's Twitter timeline, Riteish Deshmukh is apparently investing Rs 225 crore in making a film on Chhatrapati Shivaji's life. Although there are no confirmations on the same and honestly, it's Ramu so you cannot really trust his timeline too! We will wait for the official announcements.
After the Bahubali thunder I just heard great news that RiteishDeshmukh is making Shivaji at a whopping cost of more than 225 crores

Shivaji's story has more heroism and drama than Bahubali nd he was real unlike Bahubali which will make it a more thrilling experience

Shivaji is known throughout india as the bravest son of india who fought against invasion ..Am sure the battle scenes will be magnificient

Shivaji being the subject as an audience I want to thank Riteish for venturing to make the greatest Indian film ever

Am sure Riteish is doing Shivaji at this large scale only for it to become ultimate pride of Maharashtra like Bahubali for Andhra Pradesh

There was obviously news that Riteish will be essaying Shivaji in a biopic, that is being made in Marathi. But we wonder if it will be a Hindi film now or whether it will be dubbed in several languages for a pan Indian audience reach, like Baahubali.
