After an intimate wedding, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma head to Rome for honeymoon

After their intimate Tuscan wedding in Italy on December 11, newlyweds Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have left Borgo Finocchieto and flown off to Rome for their honeymoon. As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, the much-in-love couple will spend some quality time together in Italy’s love capital before they head back to India.

Virat and Anushka have a week’s time in hand before their grand reception in Delhi on December 21, followed by another reception in Mumbai. While the reception in Virat’s hometown will be held for family members and relatives, the Mumbai reception will see the presence of the who’s who of Bollywood and Cricket world. 

Meanwhile, as per official announcement, the couple will travel to South Africa after hosting the receptions in India as Virat will start prepping for the upcoming series. Anushka will spend New Year’s Eve with him but return in the first week of January as she has to begin the next schedule of Anand L Rai’s film with Shah Rukh Khan in Mumbai. 

Moreover, Anushka will also start preparing for Sui Dhaaga as the shooting for the same starts in February 2018 with Varun Dhawan and Virat will be playing the series in South Africa for 2 months. Considering their chock-a-block schedule ahead, Virat and Anushka certainly deserved their wonderful Roman holiday. 

As they tied the knot away from the hustle bustle of Mumbai after months of speculation, Virat and Anushka confirmed the news of their wedding on Monday by sharing a post on Twitter and surprised their fans with an early wedding.
