Director Karan Johar seems to be on a launching spree of sorts.
If the buzz is to be believed, the suave director, who introduced the latest sensation Alia Bhatt alongside Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra in Student Of The Year, has taken Sridevi's daughter Jhanvi Kapoor under his wings.
Rumour has it that KJo has approached Boney Kapoor and Sridevi to convince them to let Jhanvi take her baby steps in the Hindi film industry.
However, Sridevi, who started her career as a child artiste, wants her daughter to complete her education first.
But the Koffee With Karan host seems to be quite persistent as he is leaving no stone unturned to persuade Mama dear.
He is even said to be looking at fresh faces to cast opposite Jhanvi.
Meanwhile, Jhanvi seems to be all set to take the plunge as the Kapoor gal is seen constantly by her mother's side at filmy parties and dos.
Besides, Jhanvi, who comes across as quite a fashionista, is reportedly grooming herself for an industry debut as she is taking diction and dancing classes regularly.
However, Jhanvi is not new to this kind of attention. The teenager is said to have received several offers from down South. Filmmakers are keen to cast her opposite Chiranjeevi's son, Ram Charan Teja, and Nagarjuna's son, Naga Chaitanya.
Now, its only a matter of time before we find out if Jhanvi debuts in Bollywood like Alia or will follow in her mother's footsteps and start her career with Southern flicks.
