Close on the heels of having hosted international acts like Shakira, Katy Perry, Lady GaGa, Akon, David Guetta comes the news  that yet another legendary rock act is on its way to performing in India. Should the buzz be true, then Aerosmith and its legendary frontman Steven Tyler will  be coming down to India to play as a part of the first edition of a major music festival to be held in Pune.

According to the grapevine, Aerosmith will be one of the many bands rocking it at the festival. Reveals an insider from the organising team, “India is about to experience a music festival like never before, and with acts like Aerosmith banging it in, they can only imagine what is in store.”

The music fest which is a joint venture by actor Arjun Rampal and entrepreneur Shailendra Singh, is said to be a three-day long “glocal” festival slated to be held in Pune from November 23 - 25. “This is going to be a huge musical gala to look forward to. It will be driven by culture, tradition and soul…,” says a spokesperson from the organising team, adding, “And, of course, there are a host of A-list artistes and bands from across the globe who’re going to be a part of the event!”

While it is not clear which of the three-days have been marked for Aerosmith’s performance, the final line-up will soon be announced.
