Accident on the sets of Rajinikanth's film Kaala, a crew member dies

Pa Ranjith and Rajinikanth reunite after the super success of Kabaali last year. But a tragedy has struck the shoot of their next film together, Kaala.  According to reports in News18, a worker named Michael stepped on thelectric wires on the sets of the film and was declared dead when the crew took him to the hospital. Police has now begin an investigation in the case. 

Thalaiva plays a gangster in the film, who fights for the rights and betterment of the lives of slum dwellers. After shooting for a portion of the film in Mumbai, Rajini has returned home to Chennai and now he will begin shooting on home turf. Reportedly, a 5 crore set has been constructed at EVP studio for Kaala.

Produced by Rajini's son-in-law, Dhanush. Kaala also stars Nana Patekar as the villain, Eswari Rao and Huma Quereshi in the lead. This is going to be Rajinkanth's release after his film with Ashay Kumar 2.0 hits screen this year.
