Abhishek Bachchan's female fans invade Janak, refuse to leave without meeting him

Abhishek Bachchan has always had some exceptional encounters with his fans—remember the girl who turned up at his wedding claiming to be his wife? To his credit, Abhishek is invariable warm gracious and attentive with people who make it a point to come and meet him unannounced. Such was the case on Saturday evening when four working girls, diehard fans, dropped in to meet Abhishek at his office complex Janak.

When told politely that he was busy the fans, determined to get a dekko and a pic with their favourite star, said they'd wait. Says a source from Janak, "Abhishek was in two back-to-back story narrations. So his staff refrained from informing him about the girl fans.The girls waited for five hours. When Abhishek got to know about them he immediately rushed down to the building compound where they were waiting. He spent some time with them chatting and getting pics clicked."

Abhishek says being nice to fans comes easily to him. "I've watched my father being warm and friendly with strangers all my life. Fans are who make you what you are. You cannot disrespect their feelings."

The star admits the volume of fan invasion has gone up after Happy New Year. "The film has certainly been a game-changer for all of us."
