Abhishek Bachchan graced the 36th India Day Parade in New York

Abhishek Bachchan was recently spotted at the 36th India Day Parade in New York celebrating the independence spirit amid the Indian diaspora.

Considered as the largest India Day Parade in the world, the chief guests for the event were yoga guru Baba Ramdev and south actor Chiyaan Vikram. Bollywood actress Priyanka Kothari was the guest of honour.

The 40-year-old Bollywood actor graced the event, convened by Federation of India Associations as Grand Marshal, reports Pinkvilla.The Housefull 3 actor donned a blue mandarin suit under a shinny tri-colour sash and was clicked waving to the people.

The parade attended by 75000 people, ran through about 13 streets in Madison Avenue and featured array of vibrant tableaux by various Indian-American groups, marching bands, police contingents. Several young Indian-Americans also gave cultural performances.

On the professional front, Abhishek's next release is the second sequel of Heri Pheri along with Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal.
