After 7 years, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to be seen TOGETHER again?

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are highly successful box-office stars in their own right, and both have also garnered critical acclaim for their performances in the past. But it's when the two of them are together that they are able to have magic translate on-screen. The two were last seen together in Raavan, and that was 7 years ago! However, our dream to see the two together once more could be coming true sooner than we think!

As reported by Thenews.com, Abhishek and Aishwarya could be appearing side by side in Mani Ratnam's next Bollywood project. This would be the trio's third outing together after Abhishek and Aishwarya's marriage, as Ratnam helmed both of the couple's previous outings, Raavan and Guru. According to the portal, “Mani has been toying with a third film in his proposed Abhishek Bachchan – Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan trilogy for the longest time,” a source close to the duo shared.

“He is very close to both Abhishek and Aishwarya. After doing Guru and Raavan with the couple in the lead, Mani has been planning a third film with them for some years now. The film will happen now after Kaatru Veliyidai in Tamil. Mani will return to Hindi cinema with his third Ash-Abhi vehicle,” the report added.

Aishwarya even made her film debut with Ratnam in 1997's Iruvar, which garnered her much praise and popularity. Jr Bachchan also once said that a script would have to be really special to have him working with his wife again. Considering the history of the trio, maybe the third time's the charm!
