Grand sets, larger than life characters and a fantasy world from the past...Baahubali fever has now reached the small screen. As writer KV Vijayendra Prasad's has decided to tell a story on TV called Aarambh.

Apart from Rajneesh Duggal, Tarun Khanna, Tej Sapru in the cast, Madhoo of Roja and Phool aur Kaante fame has also agreed to the project. According to Telly Chakkar report, Madhoo will play the role of a powerful queen on the same lines as Sivagami in Baahubali, and will also be seen doing her own action scenes.

Madhoo is said to have given her nod to the project since friend and filmmaker Goldie Behl is directing Aarambh. Earlier there were reports of her doing a show with Parmeet Sethi, but that clearly wasn't meant to be.

Actor Tarun Khanna who is already part of the cast is kicked about it. "The biggest selling point of the show is Vijayendra sir... Someone who has made the biggest film in the history of India... If he's choosing to make a TV show, it tells a lot about the small screen. He showed faith in us to do something of this scale on TV. It makes us want to give our best," Tarun said at the launch of the show at Modhera's Sun Temple.

Aarambh starts on July 24 on Star Plus
