Aamir Khan's PK talking standee removed from theatres

After Aamir Khan created a huge uproar appearing in the buff in the recently released poster of 'PK', he followed it up by churning out another marketing genius of sorts! Aamir also had some talking standees of his 'PK' avatar installed in the theatres which spoke back to people whenever they came close to the standee.

Now, it is heard that Gaiety-Galazy theatres had been asked to remove the posters after a group of women complained to the police about the poster. The poster, deemed as 'vulgar' and 'obscene' by the group was asked to be removed from the theatres.

The policemen asked Manoj Desai, the theatre owner to remove the standee, to which he kindly obliged because he did not want any further hassles. When asked Desai about the incident, he felt that such posters were bound to raise eyebrows and he did not understand why an actor of Aamir's stature would boil down to such cheap publicity measures. 

Few days back, it was reported that Aamir's 'PK' poster was copiedBut the bottom line is, Aamir and team has got what they sought out for. Love or hate it, you simply cannot ignore the 'PK' poster and that's definitely what was on Aamir's agenda, we guess!
