Aamir Khan's PK was expected to bring in a tornado at the box office and so it did. With the first day being relatively lower than expected, one might have thought that PK might fizzle out in the longer run. But staying true to Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani's track record, PK has put up a consistent show at the box office.

After bringing in over Rs 95 crores in the first weekend, the film raked in over Rs 21 crore on its first Monday, setting another record of its kind. Not just that, even its Tuesday collections did not drop much and stayed in the range of Rs 19-20 crore. With that, the five day total collection of the film stands at a mammoth Rs 136 crore.

Given that tomorrow is yet again a holiday for Christmas, collections will yet again sky rocket and might even beat its first day collections. The film is expected to make something in the range of Rs 20 crore on Wednesday and with Christmas on Thursday, footfalls are bound to increase and the collections might spike up by over 40 percent.

If that be the case, PK will bring in another 32-33 crore on Thursday and with that, it will get closer to the Rs 190 crore first week total, which will create another record. Previously, Aamir's last year release Dhoom 3 had created a record by bringing in just over Rs 180 crore in the first week itself. But given that PK's content has generated curiosity and people have loved the film, if the film continues at this pace, it might surely end up beating Dhoom 3 lifetime collections as well.
