It has not even been a week and Aamir Khan-Anushka Sharma starrer PK has already taken huge leaps at the box office. The film which has been consistently performing well at the box office ever since its release on Friday has now beaten Ajay Devgn's Singham Returns from the highest grosser list.

The film which looked promising has already raked in over Rs 150 crore in the first six days itself with a staggering average of Rs 25 crore per day, which in itself is commendable, given the fact that it had an opening of Rs 26 crore. With that, it has overtaken Singham Returns which had a lifetime collection of around Rs 140 crore at the box office.

Thursday being Christmas, there is expected to be a huge increase in footfalls for PK and a total around Rs 30 crore or more can be anticipated. With that, the film might also record the highest one week collections of all time, beating Aamir's previous best with Dhoom 3

Currently PK stands at the fourth position on the 2014 list, after Salman Khan's Kick, Shah Rukh Khan's Happy New Year and Hrithik Roshan's Bang Bang. And if the Christmas collections soar over Rs 30 crore, it will dethrone Bang Bang from its place in a day itself.

Given the pace at which PK is running, it might just also beat Aamir Khan's Dhoom 3 lifetime collections as well. But as of now, it has definitely turned out to be the biggest box office grosser this year.
