Aamir Khan postpones 'Dhoom 3' event to watch Sachin Tendulkar bat

Known to be a stickler for professionalism, superstar Aamir Khan on Thursday surprised all, albeit pleasantly, when he let his professional committments take a backseat to watch Sachin Tendulkar play his 200th and final Test against West Indies at Wankhede Stadium.

Bollywood's Mr Perfectionist was scheduled to attend an event to promote his upcoming flick Dhoom 3 where he would dedicate the title track Dhoom Macha Le to the 'God of Cricket'.

Earlier scheduled at 4.30 pm at Yash Raj Films studios, the event was postponed till 6 pm as Aamir wanted to watch Sachin bat.

As soon as Aamir heard that West Indies is all out, he left the studio immediately as he did not want to miss India batting, a statement said.

Aamir requested producer Aditya Chopra to postpone the event assuring him that he will leave Wankhede stadium by 4.30 pm when the match gets over to be in time for the promotional event.
