Aamir Khan is known to be picky and extremely selective. Yet, the actor comes up with an innovative film every now and then. But given that the actor has no release next year and has already lost out on two big projects, is his choosy nature costing him much?
Well, maybe! The actor is busy promoting his upcoming film PK starring Anushka Sharma which is expected to bring in a tsunami at the box office. But after PK, what? He had no answers till a week back. But now he does! The actor has finally signed his next film- Dangal where he will essay the role of a wrestler!
Does that mean he was not getting plum projects and better offers? No! The actor has reportedly turned down two big budgeted films with heavyweight filmmakers. Reason? Still unknown!
The first one being Farhan Akhtar- Ritesh Sidhwani's next productional venture featuring Deepika Padukone. The actor backed out of the project following some creative differences and issues in the script. But also grapevines were abuzz with reports of Aamir not happy with the remuneration. Reportedly, he asked for a huge percentage in the film's profit sharing which is why he decided to quit the film.
Next one is another biggie with Karan Johar. After Aamir made an appearance on KJo's Koffee with Karan earlier this year, they were expected to come together for a film. and Karan, who wanted to rope Aamir in for a Dharma film for the longest time even met the actor and discussed a script. But eventually, Aamir decided to bail out on Karan, putting him in a sticky situation. We hear the project would have featured Aamir and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan together but now that he's backed out, let's see who joins the cast.
We understand Aamir, you are called Mr Perfectionist but it's time you take a chill pill and not take the tag way too seriously. Because by doing that, you would rather be able to gift your fans some more films. Rather than being picky and losing out on other plum projects as well.
