A filmi calender for fresh faces

The makers of Any Body Can Dance (ABCD) are planning a unique way to introduce the film’s characters. Just a week before the release of the film they will be launching a calendar giving the background of each character. Sources associated with the film confirm, “We are planning to launch this calendar to showcase all the new faces that will be introduced with this film like Dharmesh, Salman etc.”

Directed by Remo D’Souza the film has winners and participants of Zee’s reality show Dance India Dance and Lauren Gottlieb, the finalist of the international dance talent show So You Think You Can Dance.

Prabhudheva, who as a director has been churning out blockbusters (Wanted and Rowdy Rathore),  takes a break from direction and returns to what he likes best — dancing. The story is about how he finds himself thrown out of a dance academy by his manipulative business partner and how watching a talented bunch of young dancers motivates him to turn them into India’s best dancing squad! Incidentally, it is India’s first dance film in 3D and is slated to release next month.

A sequel of the film has already been announced and the script is being worked upon.
