Bollywood surely teaches us many things and conditions our lifestyle in many ways. No matter how much we crib and rant about the muck on roads, the traffic jams caused as a part and parcel of the monsoon, Bollywood with its music tracks has been making us fall in love with this season by either associating it with romance or with beautiful single actresses swaying to their hearts' content getting drenched in the showers.

1) Pyaar Hua Ikraar Hua 

This Bollywood classic from the movie Shree 420 sees Nargis and Raj Kapoor sharing their moment together on a rainy evening. This song, which was sung by Lata Mangeshkar and Manna Dey and recorded 59 years ago, is popular even today among all age groups.

2) Bheegi Bheegi Raaton Mein

Sung by legends Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar for the movie Ajnabee in 1974, this song has actors Rajesh Khanna and Zeenat Aman showing their love and affection for each other in the rains. 

3) Tip Tip Barsa Paani

A track of the Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon starrer Mohra (1994), sung by Alka Yagnik and Udit Narayan, this song comes to mind of every Bollywood fan belonging to any age group.

4) Koi Ladki Hai

This track which also  goes by the name 'Chak Dhoom Dhoom' was and still is a hit among young Bollywood music enthusiasts. The voice of Lata Mangeshkar and Udit and Aditya Narayan with the visuals of a drenched in rains Shahrukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit, this song from the 1997 movie Dil toh Paagal Hain is not just a delight to watch but also a lively dance number.

5) Barso re

Tinsel-town beauty Aishwarya Rai's graceful dance performance in the rain along with the soothing vocals or Shreya Ghoshal set perfectly in Oscar-winning music director AR Rahman's composition is what makes this soundtrack from the 2007 Mani Ratnam film Guru a masterpiece.  

6) Behta Hain Mann Kahin

A sizzling Kareena Kapoor swaying to her heart's content in this number by Sunidhi Chauhan for the 2004 film Chameli is the main highlight of this song and is very much popular even today among dancers and music lovers.

7) Dekho Barish Ho Rahi Hain
