As soon as star kids are born, their entry into the industry is awaited. With a barrage of generation next, from Arjun Kapoor to Varun Dhawan to Shraddha Kapoor and now Athiya Shetty making their mark, here are five future debutants we can’t wait to see in action;

Ahan Shetty

After having launched Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya, Salman Khan is planning to launch son Ahan as well. At least, that is what Suniel Shetty has announced recently. “He (Salman) has plans to launch him. There is time, it will take two or three years. Ahan is getting groomed. He is doing all that is required for him to do – dancing, acting and other things – as an actor. He is learning a lot of things by travelling across the world,” Suniel recently told Press Trust of India (PTI).

Clearly, the Shetty children are damn lucky!

Navya Naveli Nanda

Although there has not really been any news of Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter's launch so far, it would make a great copy if that were to happen. In any case, Navya Naveli Nanda has the many makings of a star, considering her clicks with Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan or being an attendee with her super influential family – the Bachchans at many events. Also, her current preparations for attending ‘Le Bal’, the annual debutante ball held in Paris to be held in November is quite indicative to the fact that this seventeen-year-old has arrived in at least in the social circles.

Ishaan Khattar

According to a report in Hindustan Times’ in May, the nineteen-year-old son of Rajesh Khattar and Neelima Azmi and Shahid Kapoor’s half brother, Ishaan Khattar is ready to join the industry for the long run. Not only will he be working as an assistant director on Abhishek Chaubey’s next starring Shahid, Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor Khan, many reports also claim that he will make his acting debut alongside Saif Ali Khan’s and Amrita Singh’s daughter, Sara Ali Khan. If that’s not complicated, not sure what is!

Jhanvi Kapoor

More than Sridevi’s comeback movie, the 2012’s English Vinglish, it was the Kapoor sisters’ appearances on red carpets at the time that made headlines. That naturally followed with incessant rumours of Boney Kapoor and Sridevi’s elder daughter’s, Jhanvi’s acting debut. Reports even claimed that the eighteen-year-old is starring opposite Dulquer Salmaan, son of Malayalam superstar, Mammootty in a film. However, Boney Kapoor told Indian Express.com, “She is too young. Finally, she has to decide what she wants to do in life. As of now, all talks about her debut are mere speculations.”

Guess we will just have to wait and watch.

Harshvardhan Kapoor

The lad of Anil and Sunita Kapoor, Harshvardhan Kapoor will be seen in Rakesh Omprakash Mehra’s next, Mirziya – a contemporary version of Mirza-Sahiba’s tragic love story that is scheduled to release next year. He is also on board for the Vikramaditya Motwane’s next, Bhavesh Joshi, touted as Motwane’s most ambitious film. With two of country’s leading directors betting on this twenty-four-year-old, one cannot be blamed for having high expectations from him!

This is a Zee Convergence initiative.

Don’t forget to catch the ‘Classic Debut’, a week-long festival showcasing the launch movies of the biggest Bollywood stars starting October 25 at 9 pm every night, only on Zee Classic!
