Sharman Joshi, who comes from a theatre background, is gearing up for his big stage production. The '3 Idiots' actor is bringing the West End play, 'The Play That Goes Wrong', for the first time to India, for which he has joined hands with a UK firm. Considering that West End plays are well received across the world and are much-spoken about, our source says, “Sharman met them a few times and they were convinced that he will do a good job of it and signed up with him to take the play to India.”
A fascicle murder mystery, it is touted to be a never-seen-before act in the Indian theatre circuit. “The play, which also features Sharman, will have actors jumping off high platforms and flying in the air, as the play has a lot of action-based comedy,” adds our source.
