18th time Oscar nominee Meryl Streep feels she's 'old news'

Meryl Streep, who recently got her 18th Oscar nomination for ‘August: Osage County’, has confessed that she thought she wouldn’t get nominated because she’s “old news”.

During an appearance on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’, the veteran actress told the host that she slept in when the Oscar nominations were announced, People Magazine reported.

The ‘Devil Wears Prada’ star explained that all the papers were saying that she doesn’t have a chance because there were so many great and better performances this year as compared to her performance.
