16 Saal Baad: Aamir Khan FINALLY makes an exception, will attend THIS award function!

Ever since Lagaan and Sarfarosh days, Aamir Khan has maintained that he won't attend Award ceremonies. But he did make an exception, over 16 years ago when he attended the Oscars where Lagaan was nominated in the Best Film category. 

Now, after so many years of giving Awards nights a miss, Mr Perfectionist will finally join an award soiree. What is it? 

It's the prestigious Master Dinanath Mangeshkar Awards where Aamir will be conferred with the 'Vishesh Puraskar'. This will be for his stellar act in 2016's blockbuster Dangal. Along with Khan, yesteryear heroine Vyjayanthimala and former cricketer Kapil Dev will also be honoured at the do.
