Which Marathi short film has been selected for a world premiere at the 63rd Cannes Film Festival, May 12-23, 2010?

Cox will be presented the prestigious Lucy Award at the Crystal and Lucy event this year — one year after her best friend, Jennifer Aniston, was honoured with the same trophy.

Shakti, 24, who is from choreographer Terrence Lewis’s team 'Terrence Ki Toli', won with 7,34,140 votes and beat other finalists. While Dharmesh bagged the second position, Punit was third. Shakti received the award from Pandit Birju Maharaj. Along with the trophy, he won a contract worth Rs50 lakh and a Maruti Wagon R car.

The four-day festival aimed to sensitise people to the issues of homosexuals, mirroring their problems. It presented 110 films from over 25 countries at two venues in Mumbai. The films screened explored the life stories and experiences of homosexual, bisexual, and transgendered characters.

The award was given away by legendary playback singer Lata Mangeshkar, daughter of the late Master Dinanath, on April 24 at the Shanmukhananda auditorium in Mumbai. The award consists of a memento and cash prize of Rs50,000.

Baangdya, directed by debutant Kedar Jape, is about the farmer suicides and the plight of widows. It revolves around a village girl Chingi who loves to play with bangles. She finds out that her father had committed suicide and her mother is also on her way to do the same. The film tracks the girl's struggle to save her only parent. In the process, the reality of farmers is revealed.

Bridges won the award for his performance as a booze-soaked country singer in Crazy Heart. He also won the Oscar this year for the same film. Other winners of the Prism Awards included the film The Soloist and TV's Breaking Bad, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, How I Met Your Mother, and Grey's Anatomy. Winners are chosen by an 80-member committee of entertainment industry professionals and experts from the fields of medicine, mental health and addiction.

It is the first time that Ansari, 27-year-old star of NBC's Parks and Recreation, will host the awards. The MTV Movie Awards honour the year's best films in categories such as best kiss, best fight, and best global superstar. The awards will be presented at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles.

Nichols, 77, joins past AFI award recipients such as Elizabeth Taylor, Meryl Streep, and Dustin Hoffman. His most recent film was 2007’s Charlie Wilson’s War, starring Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts. The celebration is scheduled for June 10 at the historic Stage 15 on the Sony Studios lot in Culver City, and is set to air later in June on TV Land.

The film will be shown on US network NBC, which said the film, and a companion television special, grew out of three decades of work on the issue of climate change by Charles. It follows the prince at work in Britain and overseas and features contributions from farmers and business and government leaders. It includes footage of Charles interviewing former US vice-president and Nobel Peace Prize winner Al Gore in 1988. The film and the NBC special will be broadcast as part of the network's ‘Green is Universal’ initiative in November 2010.

The show will see Roy make his debut as a chef. He will host 11 leading ladies from different serials aired on Colors competing against each other in a culinary challenge. Roy is currently seen in NDTV Imagine's Bandini.
