The 69th Emmy Awards red carpet was notches above last year's edition. While Evan Rachel Wood stuck to her androgynous looks, Nicole Kidman brought old Hollywood tulle elegance. Desi girl Priyanka Chopra cleaned up good on Balmain as Big Little Lies star Reese Witherspoon did comfort glam.

Men stuck to their boring tuxedos with the exception of RuPaul and Tituss Burgess who showed that a bit of flair never hurt anyone.

Men usually stick to a tuxedo when it comes to dressing up for the red carpet. That doesn't mean one is not allowed to appreciate eye candies like Riz Ahmed, Milo Ventimiglia, and Justin Hartley.

The 'Boring Yet Dapper' lot can take a lesson or two from RuPaul and Titus Burgess. A bit of bling, a bit of design, and a bit of indulgence is definitely allowed when it's TV's biggest night!
