Shamita Shetty, the younger sister of Shilpa Shetty, told After Hrs that her sister’s marriage dates haven’t yet been finalised. Earlier, rumour mills were abuzz that Shilpa might be tying the knot with London-based businessman Raj Kundra in February next year.
“We have not finalised Shilpa’s marriage dates. Marriage with Raj will happen but not this year neither in February next year. It is certainly not on the cards soon. Both the families need to sit down and talk about that,” Shamita said.
She added, “The family loves Raj and we are all waiting for the opportune moment.”
Recently there was news about Shamita’s involvement with Shane Warne. When asked about that, she flatly says, “I’m very much single and happy.”
Of late Shamita has started focusing a lot on the production house that she has started along with Shilpa. Speaking about that, she said, “We have some ambitious plans for it. In fact, we are thinking of opening a branch in London. For that we are working out the logistics. Hopefully, we will be able to make an announcement soon.”
Shamita is following in the footsteps of her sister when it comes to reality shows. She has signed up for Bigg Boss, whose international version was won by Shilpa earlier. Along with surviving in the reality show, is there the added pressure of emulating her sister’s success?
“I have no pressure at all. We should not be compared. She reacts to things very differently but I will give it my best shot. Now that I’m not even acting in any film, it is the best time for me to do this,” she said.
