Rivaling more than 1800 cities all over the world, Delhi was adjudged as 25th in the 'ultimate' fun city rankings in a survey compiled by GetYourGuide and GoEuro. The survey was based on 11 factors including 'public drinking allowed', 'last call', 'average beer price' and 'adult entertainment'. Leading the list is Berlin with the lowest beer price and one of the best bars and clubs in the world. London and Paris on the other hand finished second and third respectively, in the list with some of the best concerts, museums and other fun activities available amongst other cities.

According to a report by UNWTO, number of international tourists in 2014 spanning a period from January to August were 781 million, as compared to 745 million in 2013. Social media was stated as one of the influences including the 'drop' in travel rates which are encouraging people to visit the cities all over the world.  With the rise of the international tourism on an all time high, the cities are making sure that key entertainment factors are improved and appropriate measures are taken to facilitate the tourists.

Competing with cities like Mumbai and Bangalore which are generally considered 'cool' and 'happening', Delhi came on top with better sports club facilities and cheap liquor. The data compiled includes the input from various 'trusted' travel websites like yelp.com, tripadvisorwikitravel and timeout.
