Tamannaah to do a 'masala' entertainer with Akshay Kumar

Tamannaah is making her debut in Bollywood with Sajid Khan's remake film Himmatwala.

The film will see her essaying the role that Sridevi did in the original film. Even before her debut Hindi film releases on March 29, Tamannaah has been signed for a film by Tips.

"We have signed Tamannaah for a film with Akshay Kumar. She is a good and beautiful actress. We have seen her work down south and feel she would fit the role," Ramesh Taurani of Tips told PTI.

The film will be directed by writer duo Sajid-Farhad, known for writing dialogues of 'Golmaal' series, Bol Bachchan and others.

"It will be a 'masala' entertainer film. It will have comedy, action, romance and all," Taurani said.

The shooting for the film will begin from July this year and it will release next year.
