Big B's baby for Baby Beri

Designer Ritu Beri will be showcasing her Baby Beri 2013 Show in New Delhi today evening. The designer, who has chosen a Hippie theme, will have actor Abhishek Bachchan walk the ramp.

Talking about the star, she says, “Baby Beri works for a very sensitive issue — autism. Abhishek is not only a good actor but comes across as a person who is warm and grounded. As a new parent, he is one of the few Bollywood stars who’s relatable and sensitive enough, young and trendy — perfect for a Baby Beri brand ambassador!”

Ritu will showcase occasion wear for kids with elements of peace, love, and freedom in the collection. “Extremely colourful, the mood of this collection is carefree and crazy. I’ll be showcasing a unique range of denims and cottons, bringing in the tie-and-dye effect in bright psychedelic colours and a variety of patchwork fabrics, corduroy, and floral prints, garments for both young boys and girls,” she says.

Most importantly, some of the designs will be auctioned to raise money for the Blessed Hearts Foundation that works for the improvement and upliftment of less fortunate kids. The funds raised during this show will be used to educate and upgrade the conditions of children with autism.
