Health amenities and education are the basic necessities and rights of every woman.

The DNA i can women’s Marathon is a superb way of combining two very good issues. One is, of course, the education of the girl child, and the other is fitness. And I believe that both go hand-in-hand. Health amenities and education are the basic necessities and rights of every woman.

The root cause of a lot of issues is illiteracy, not just among women, but across the board. Literacy among women is important because a woman educated is a family educated. As the backbone of the family, an educated mother will always make sure that every child in the family is schooled too. It essentially helps families break out of the circle of illiteracy that’s been continuing for ages. Participating in this marathon that supports such causes is truly noble.

Besides the cause that women will be running for, training for the marathon itself will put them on a healthy track, especially with the kind of sedentary lifestyles that we all lead today. A marathon like this is just the motivation we need to put on our running shoes.

Women often tend overlook their health and prioritise their husbands and children. But what we ignore the most, our health, is what we should prioritise the most. Many of these new-age diseases like cancer and PCODs can be prevented through regular exercising, and leading a healthy lifestyle.

Women should take care of their daily intake of nutritional foods. A healthy woman produces healthy children, the future of our country. The DNA Marathon like this makes us realise not to take our health for granted and puts us on the right track in a healthy direction. And when you run for such a noble cause, it’s like a bonus. Here are two positives coming together and I support the marathon and the causes it stands for. So run on ladies!
