Meet the new Big B ambassador!

If Priyanka Chopra seems to be happier than usual, it's not without a reason. And it's not only to do with her successful run this awards season, thanks to her role of Jhilmil in Barfi! or the positive response she has been garnering internationally for her singing debut.

According to sources, Priyanka is over the moon as she is all set to felicitate Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan at an event which is slated to be held tomorrow. The self-confessed Bachchan fan feels it's a great honour to present him an award. “Priyanka has always admitted to being a huge fan of Amitabh Bachchan, so she is absolutely overjoyed to be sharing the stage with him and is looking forward to meeting him. In the past too, she has talked about how as a child she would often imitate his trademark style and always wanted to be like him. In fact, not many know that one of the reasons she agreed to do Don, Don 2, Agneepath and now Apoorva Lakhia's Zanjeer is that they are all remakes of Bachchan's films,” says the source.

Talking about it, Priyanka says, “I am Mr Bachchan's brand ambassador and this should be in my contract. Now I can't be Vijay so I am being his heroine in any film.”

Meanwhile, the actress who will soon be seen starring opposite Ram Charan in the Zanjeer remake — that is simultaneously being shot in Hindi and Telugu — is reportedly helping the South star perfect his Hindi. On the other hand, RC is known to be helping PC get her dialogues right in the South Indian language. She is also shooting for Gunday with Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh for the first time.
