Actor Vivek Oberoi is always known to go to great lengths when it comes to promoting his films. But for his upcoming film Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story, the actor will be seen taking it a step further in a rather unique marketing strategy. A source reveals that starting today, the actor plans to visit a few city theatres and check out the audience reactions to the films releasing.
"Vivek who plays a ruffian in the film will be dressing up like his character Jayantabhai from the film for this week and will be seen outside suburban single screen theatres in Juhu and Bandra reviewing the Imran Khan starrer Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola.
As Jayantabhai, post Matru..., Vivek also plans to review Race 2 and Inkaar, the movies which will be releasing in the next two weeks," informs the insider. Vivek won’t just dress up like Jayantabhai, but will also talk in the style that he does in the film.
"Vivek will be talking in hardcore ‘Mumbaiyya ishtyle’ to audiences who have just seen the films and will be checking out their reaction to it. Vivek is very excited, as he is doing something like this for the very first time," adds the source.
Apart from Jayantabhai..., the actor also has Zilla Ghaziabad, Grand Masti and Krissh 3 to look forward to this year. Talking about the interesting mix of genres on his platter, Vivek says, "It’s like exploring all colours of the rainbow, which I think is exciting and encouraging both. So, yes it’s looking to be a great year ahead."
And not just professionally, personally too the actor is on a high and is looking forward to being a father, as wife Priyanka is expecting their first child soon.
