After his show of desi Matru on-screen, that earned him brownie points with director Vishal Bharadwaj, rumours were rife that Imran Khan had replaced Shahid Kapoor in Kaminey 2. The news, however, took Imran completely by surprise and he strongly denies any such reports.
He says, "There has been no discussion at all with Vishal sir on Kaminey 2. Having said that I would love to work with him once again after Matru..." Imran and Shahid have always been good friends and the former does not want to jeopardise his relationship with the latter because of rumours like these. He is also looking forward to the release of Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola and the industry is abuzz with talks of how this will be an image-changer for him. Post which, he will be seen in Milan Talkies and Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai Again.
