Kanye West is to record some special raps for his baby.

The Stronger hitmaker's girlfriend Kim Kardashian is around three months pregnant with their first child and the 35-year-old musician is planning his own special take on Dr. Seuss's classic children's stories Green Eggs and Ham and The Cat in the Hat.

A source told The Sun newspaper, "Kanye's going to record child-friendly raps of Dr. Seuss, who he's a big fan of."

The rap versions of the stories are not the only musical ventures Kanye is planning for his baby.

It was recently revealed he intends to record a duet with Kim, 32, while she is carrying their child so they can play it to the baby when it is born.

A source said, "Kanye's really in touch with his feelings. He wants Kim to lay down some vocals while she's carrying his child.

"He thinks it'll be cool for his son or daughter to listen to the track when they're older."

As well as making music together, it has been revealed Kim and Kanye plan to document her pregnancy and their subsequent trials and tribulations as parents in a new reality TV show.

E! Entertainment network president Suzanne Kolb said, "Kim and Kanye are an incredibly dynamic couple, and their baby news is just so exciting. Like so many Kardashian fans, we love it when this close-knit family gets even bigger.
