Actor Salman Khan seemed to be in a fun mood for some ribbing at the music launch of actor and pal Preity Zinta’s Ishkq in Paris on Monday. And right from director Prem Raj Soni to newbie Rehan Malleik to Preity, all got a dose of that typical Sallu wit and humour that had everyone in splits! So, when Preity was asked if there were any kissing scenes in her forthcoming film, she said that there were none.
“No, since it’s a family entertainer,” she said, to which Salman added, “These days everything is gharelu — films, shows, everything except girls!” Later when someone pointed out that in his own films, though it made Rs200 crore, he didn’t get to kiss. Actor Emraan Hashmi — who incidentally gets compared to the actor when it comes to getting a huge opening and is in fact referred to as mini-Salman — on the other hand, his films may not have made Rs200 crore, but he gets to kiss, Salman cheekily added, ‘Onscreen!’ But he was all praises for Emraan, as he said that he is one of the most under-rated actors in the industry.
“I think Emraan is the most underrated hero. I have seen his work and have liked him. He has given back-to- back hits and I think he should get his due,” said Salman to which Preity added, “Even I have seen his films and I think he was really good in all of them.”
