We have heard of many friendships in B-Town going kaput overnight. While most equations change every Friday, there are a couple of them that stand the test of time and the bonds grow stronger. Actors Salman Khan and Preity Zinta have been friends for the past 10 years but even now when either has a problem, they turn to each other for support, guidance or just advice. Preity, who had recently taken a break from acting to concentrate on her cricket team is currently busy with the post production of her first film as a producer, Ishkq in Paris.
The film, directed by Preity’s good friend Prem Soni has been mostly shot in Paris and has her producing as well as acting in the movie. Considering, she is returning to the big screen after a very long time, she is leaving no stone unturned to ensure her film is perfect. But recently, she was in a bit of a spot when the crew decided to add a new song to the film. This was to be shot in Mumbai and that is when her good friend, Salman came into the picture.
A source close to Preity reveals, “Preity has known Salman and his family for years now. She is close to both Sohail and Salman so when they knew she was making her comeback; they had decided to help her in every way possible. When Sohail got to know that Preity was to shoot a club song, he offered his own lounge bar in Bandra to her for three days. Preity is currently shooting for the song there.”
If sources close to the duo are to be believed, that’s not all. When Preity asked Sallu if he would be willing to play a cameo, he readily agreed. Despite having a very tight schedule, Salman made sure he took time out for the small part as she is a dear friend. He does a cameo in the movie and plays himself in the film. Prem confirms as he says, “Both Salman and Sohail have been really supportive of the film. In fact we are shooting a song at Sohail’s club in Bandra and Salman does a friendly appearance for us in the film. His chemistry with Preity is one of the highlights in the film and he was gracious enough to take time out to shoot
