Sean Penn left speechless by Javier Bardem's Biutiful

The outspoken actor became speechless after watching the Spanish-language film, which stars Bardem as a dying man trying to put his affairs in order for his two sons.

Sean Penn sat in stunned silence for 15 minutes after watching Javier Bardem's portrayal of a cancer patient in Biutiful, says the film's director.

The outspoken Milk actor became speechless after watching the Spanish-language film, which stars Bardem as a dying man trying to put his affairs in order for his two sons.

"I showed it to him one year ago and he couldn't walk, couldn't talk for like 15 minutes because he was just sitting there," the Daily Express quoted filmmaker Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu as telling Eonline.com.

"He couldn't really put himself, his thoughts and his feelings together," he added.
