Everybody did move their body when Backstreet Boys and Richard Marx took centre stage at the Romanov Red Rock ‘n India concert. Backstreet Boys’ maiden live performance in the city of music lovers was definitely a rocking affair where the fans went crazy dancing and screaming out loud, enjoying every bit of the music and asking for more. It was about time they visited India and they also promised to return next year for their own tour.
They set the spirits soaring by performing ‘Everybody rock your body…..Backstreet back’ but going by the mood of the crowd Backstreet Boys seemed to have been always around. They had the crowd completely enthralled with their music.
Their performance was preceded by the Richard Marx whose music was amazingly magical. The number ‘Hazard’ saw the crowd go a little sentimental and enjoy it nonetheless.
Also part of the concert were bands like Prime Circle, Jayce Lewis and Indian bands like Swarathma and Five Little Indians.
As usual the Romanov Red Rock ‘n India annual affair attracted a lot of audience from the south Indian states and it was no surprise to see people flying down from cities like Hyderabad and Pune just to get a taste of some great music. A lot of foreigners were part of the audience which was again cross cultural with junkies to corporate biggies being a part of it.
