UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Exam 2018 notification to be released today, details inside

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will be releasing the official notification for Civil Services Exam 2018 today. The notification can be checked on their official website upsc.gov.in.

Interested candidates should have bachelor’s degree in any stream from any university recognised under University Grants Commission (UGC). Appearing candidates are also eligible to apply.

The civil services examination is conducted annually by the UPSC in three stages - preliminary, main and interview - to select officers for Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS), among others. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is an organisation that works under the central government to recruit staff for various posts in the various ministries and departments, and in subordinate offices. The commission also conducts examinations for the recruitment in various departments of the state.

The last date for receipt of application form would be March 6. The UPSC Civil Services (Prelims) 2018 is scheduled to be conducted on June 3.
