UGC NET December 2019 exam starts today; all you need to know

The examination for UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) December 2019 Exam begins today. The online examination will continue till December 6. The examination is conducted by NTA for  Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for Assistant Professor till December 6 for 10,34,872 candidates, covering 81 subjects in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

The registration process ended in the month of November and the admit card was released by November 9. 

The exam will be conducted between December 2-6 of this year, the results for which will be announced on December 31.

The application fees for the General/Unreserved category was Rs 800/-, while for OBC/EWS section it was Rs 400/- and for the SC/ST/PwD/Transgender section, it was Rs 200/-

The Test will comprise of two papers as given below:

All the appearing candidates are requested to carry the admit card along with one passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form) for pasting on the specific space in the Attendance Sheet at Centre during the Examination.
